General FAQ

Q: Are you guys the same Enclave from PlanetSide?
A: Yes.

Q: How many members do you expect to have in your roster?
A: I enjoy having a minimal of one hundred active players. This ensures we can operate at almost any time of the day every day.

Q: Why are you guys always recruiting?
A: Hardly anybody makes the cut. I weed out bad players as soon as I see them. The ratio of players who remain in The Enclave after recruitment is one to every ten.

Q: Do you guys play more than one game at a time ?
A: No, we focus all of our time and effort towards one to ensure the quality is of the highest order.

Q: Why TeamSpeak over Ventrillo?
A: Ventrillo is inferior.

Q: What is with all the Nazi stuff?
A: It's a joke. Pure satire.

Q: Are you guys actually sponsored by Stormfront.org?
A: No.

Q: Do you really believe any of that White Nationalism stuff you post?
A: No.

Q: If you don't believe it, why do you do it?
A: It's pretty amusing when people take such overly and purposely exaggerated news posts as fact and indications of our belief and foundation. Think of it as a way for us to continue laughing at stupid people.

Q: Are you guys Nazis?
A: No.

Q: Are you guys racist?
A: No.

Q: Are you guys sexist?
A: No.

Q: If you're not sexist, or racist, what are you?
A: Realist.

Q: Are you guys griefers? I see allot of griefing and trolling content on your website.
A: No we are not. The people we "grief" or "troll" are people who have done something to us in the past to warrant our behavior. We do not solely exist to harass people on the internet.

Q: I heard The Enclave does not accept women. Is this true?
A: No. We're just cautious.

Q: How come you guys are very cautious about letting women in The Enclave?
A: Most women are just not capable of playing these games at a level that men can, don't take criticism well, often flirt with the male members and in general just cause drama. We've learned this first hand and are highly selective of their membership.

Q: Hey Horrigan/BuzzCutPsycho, I remember you from [Insert Game Here] - Are you still an asshole?
A: Yes.

Q: That logo on your website is pretty snazzy. Is it your very own IP?
A. Yes, designed by a member. The work is 100% original.

Q: Does it symbolize anything or is it just cool looking?
A: The ten stars represent the original ten founders in PlanetSide and a commemoration to our decade of existence. The shield represents our favor towards heavy armor, The sword represents our focus on infantry. The mailed fist represents our strength and domination while the wings recognize and remember our most well known accomplishments, airborne Operations in Planetside.

Q: How have you guys managed to stay together for so long?
A: The Enclave has been blessed with the most outstanding and loyal membership any community could ask for.

Q: If I was to ask you what one characteristic makes the best Enclave members, what would you say?
A: Attitude.

Q: So I read your charter, you guys seem pretty serious. Are you guys laid back at all?
A: We're actually very laid back. The only time our charter comes into play really is when we're doing some form of organized event. We've always tried to find a balance between professional and laid back. When we want to win, and are playing serious we switch to "professional" mode where our charter, rules and chain of command are strictly adhered too. When we're not we switch to "casual" mode where we're really laid back and just like having a good time. If you're too professional, then you never have fun. If you're too laid back, you never succeed. Finding the perfect balance is what we do.

WoW Specific FAQ

Q: Are you guys still all human?
A: Yes, we still adhere to our "human only" policy.

Q: How come you're all human?
A: This is a long standing tradition amongst The Enclave. While we realize it slightly limits us in certain recruits and classes it has, for many, myself included, been a policy that increases our enjoyment of the game and helps us stand out amoungst the faceless legion of WoW guilds.

Q: Your guild sounds pretty RP, are you guys RPers?
A: No. Our policy has little to do with RP and more to do with tradition and uniformity. Consider it an RP-"Theme".

Q: Any chance of you changing this policy?
A: If it becomes a hindrance to our performance we will change it. It has not limited us yet in the last five years so I don't think it will start now.

Q: How come you don't let Worgen in? They're human.
A: They're not human.

Q: Will you ever bend on Worgen?
A: Depends on how bad we want Druids.

Q: Why do I have to wear a guild tabard?
A: Because it shows your pride and displays Enclave uniformity. We are proud of who we are and you should be too.

Q: Do I always have to wear the tabard?
A: The tabard is only required to be worn when doing guild events, raids, PvP, meetings, or anything else. While not mandatory to wear on your "off" time, it is encouraged. Obviously, wearing a faction tabard to gain reputation is allowed.

Q: What’s the deal on horses? What counts as a horse?
A: Same as tabards, when you're on our time you are required to ride horses. Acceptable mounts are any human faction horse and any of the class specific mounts.

Q: Any flying mount requirements?
A: No, fly what you want.

Q: There is no way you guys can be good at this game without Druids and Shamans! Is there?
A: There is and we are. As stated above, if we find that our policy is a hindrance we will change it.

Q: Do you guys PvE?
A: Yes, very casually. It is done to see the content and break up the PvP in order to keep WoW fresh. We are not a raid guild.

Q: Do you allow non-guildies in your premades?
A: Very, very rarely. We always try to keep things guild only. If you want to be in our premades you should probably join the guild.

Q: Hey, I'm a [Insert Sub-human race here], if I pay to have my race changed can I join?
A: Yes, players who pay to have their race changed to human will immediately be allowed into the guild and skip the application process. We feel that players who have made this financial commitment have both the atittude and desire to be in The Enclave.

Q: Hey, I'm on the Horde... if I faction change can I join?
A: The same answer applies to this question as the one above. Horde players coming to The Alliance as humans are also granted instant access and respect.

Q: Don't you feel bad about players essentially paying money to join your guild?
A: Not at all. The cost to race/faction change is minimal. But that's not the main reason. The way I see it is if a player pays money to meet a requirement to join our guild that means they are highly dedicated and genuinely interested, and almost certainly not a guild hoping piece of shit.
